It is getting to finally feel like Spring. The purple crocus and dafodils have bloomed, bathing and smiling in the sunshine.
"Vlaya!" is the word Vinny uses to proclaim 'flower', but these first blooming beauties of the year don't seem to mind. They remain as resilient as nature allows for them to be; in the hands of an infant.
Since there has been a marked change in our season, we have been enjoying every last drop of the outdoors possible. Vinny took his first wagon ride, along with our recycling, to the drop boxes. Lucky for all of us, they are a short 200 yards or so away.
Vinny, enjoying his scrambled eggs and veggies.. and showing off for the camera.
Last week, the weather broke, and the golf bag made it's first appearance of the year. Two of V's favorite things are golf clubs ("ga cluh") and golf balls ("ga ba")... and now a new challenge.. 'Ga Bag".. :)
He was very excited to help Da-da clean his clubs, and get ready to tee it up for the first time in 2009.
We took a trip with Nana to the nursery, and stopped for icecream on our way home.
The first time V's worn shorts this year, it was so nice out.. and you can see he's sporting a logo Michael's Pizzeria shirt. Uncle Kevin and Aunt Moose printed a couple up for him so that he can help us draw business. :)
Although V is more concerned with rocks than he is with pizzas, with all the attention he gets when we're out, someone is bound to ask about that pizzeria..

We've been enjoying the outdoors as much as possible. The other night, on our stroll home from the pizza shop, we stopped to chat with our neighbors. Their granddaughter is 7 now, but they still have a garage full of baby toys, and were kind enough to donate a pile of them to V's cause. It took three people to carry the toys home, and an afternoon cleaning them up, but now V has some toys to play with in the yard.. including a slide!
After our trip to the nursery with Nana, we had two Giant Elephant Ear bulbs to plant. Vinny was more than eager about helping me get them planted.

Speaking of growing.. we visited the McClures recently too, and little Miss Kendall is growing and changing by the day. She was showing off her baby legs, and bathing in the sun while we were there.
Vinny loved her, and Kruzer loved watching to see what V would do next. She is after all his sister, and he must keep a loving eye on her.

The days go by too quickly.

Still a proud Da-da.
I Love all these pics! And Vinny is getting SO BIG!! He's adorable in his shorts! And I can't believe how much Kendall is growing too!! Some of these pics remind me of some of our baby pictures!! Love you and Miss you ALL!!
